It was such a pleasure to design and style the Hospital Home Lottery Foundation’s Grand Prize lakefront cottage this year. It truly celebrates everything we love about lake life!☀️
Our vision was to create a space that feels warm, welcoming, and effortlessly lived in. Every detail was chosen to strike a balance between beauty and practicality, proving you don’t have to sacrifice one for the other. Bring on the sandy feet, wet towels and all the family gatherings!
The end result is an elevated cottage that feels collected, cozy, and made for real life at the lake.🐟

We’re so excited to officially welcome Sophie Huszar to the Ambiente team as our Studio Design Assistant.
Sophie recently completed her studies at the New York School of Interior Design after spending the past 2 years living in NYC and studying remotely. Now back in Regina, she’s bringing fresh inspiration, creativity, and a little big-city energy to our studio, and we couldn’t be happier to have her on the team!
Before pursuing interior design, Sophie also earned her real estate certificate through the UBC Sauder School of Business. But along the way, she realized her true passion was in designing homes, not selling them.🏡
With her eye for detail, strong organization skills, and love for beautiful spaces, Sophie will be supporting every step of our design process. You’ll definitely be seeing her around the studio and working alongside our team.

The studio has been buzzing in the best way lately!
Right now we’ve got a fun mix of projects just getting started, a handful deep in the messy middle (hello framing, electrical walkthroughs, and the occasional pivot), and a few racing toward the finish line where it’s all hands on deck to bring everything to life exactly as we imagined.
The process isn’t always picture-perfect, but the end result always is. And honestly, I know I say it all the time but … how lucky are we to do this every day?🤍
